Happy 22nd birthday big brother! So, I remember about six years ago when I first saw your face. I thought “Hey, he’s really cute.” But then I saw Bryan and…yeah, he’s my babydaddy now. But anyway, even though I’ve only seen you in concert ONCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, I feel like I still know you sooooo well. I watched you grow up into this gorgeous man, and I’ve watched you go through many changes. From your hair, to your height, to you finally getting rid of your shyness. Do you know how proud that makes me to say I know that? I remember all the different names I gave you. Julian, Ace, Michael, Channing, psh, I even called you Duncan. I remember when Lexi and I used to call you cocoa puff…Candace and I called you Poopy once, I think…But anywhoo, no matter how many different personalities you had, the one that counted was the one we all knew and love. I just honestly can’t believe you’re 22. I remember the disappointment in my heart when I found out you were 16, and I was…9? Yeah. I was nine years old when I first saw you on the cover of your first album. You and the bros in your matching black varsity jackets, looking all cute and what not. Bryan was 13 then. Psh. I didn’t care though. Your smile, your laugh, your personality has always been amazing. I remember watching countless videos and interviews and just laughing at you and the guys. I remember hearing your solo in Teardrops, and absolutely fangirling over your voice. And then your voice got deeper. And it made no sense to me how high your voice was when you sang, but when you talked, your voice was so deep…but I guess I dealt with it. I just hope that one day I do get to meet you, and maybe we’ll go out and get some food, you big ape. But anyway, I just wanted to thank you for being in my life these past six years.
